About Robert Tubesing
I am a professional artist and photographer, who lives in Northern Kentucky. Beginning with wood carving while a Boy Scout, I have been involved in creative activities for over 50 years; with painting and fine art photography being among my favorites. Fresh out of college, I bought my first serious camera, a Canon, while stationed with the army in South Korea, and I still have many of the photos I took of people, animals and scenery there.
The constraints of career, money, and time kept me from taking a lot of pictures during mid-life, but I was always the one who was asked to take pictures at work and family events, resulting in me not being in any of them! A good job and ability to travel, convinced me to commit to being more serious about taking pictures worthy of the places we visited and scenes we saw.
I have now taken thousands of pictures, and my friends have encouraged me to share them through Fineartamerica, which I am excited to finally do. I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy taking them. If you see me out and about with my Nikon, please stop me and say, 'Hi!'.
